GTFS Kit

GTFS Kit is an open-source Python 3 software package we created for analysing General Transit Feed Specification (GTFS) data. Its main use is computing key indicators for public transport networks, such as daily number of trips per stop, service distance per route, and screen line counts.

GTFS Kit powers most of our data analysis projects involving GTFS data.

We published GTFS Kit under the MIT License, a permissive open-source license, as an expression of our gratitude to the open-source community, whose tools we build upon on a daily basis.
